Last Sunday we went to Docwood, or maybe better known as Tigerland for some. The field is mainly a Woodland terrain with a few bunkers, fences, gun posts & trenches. We are not afraid of Woodland, but sometimes we cursed the lots of bushes and trees 😉 Nevertheless, we had a great day!
The missions were organized by Legioen (the organizer) and were pretty good. There were more than enough marshalls and quite a lot of players on the field.
We started off with a TDM to get to know the terrain. All went well. After that we needed to prevent the other team to deliver Pokémons (yes, you read that right ;)). We had some amazing teamplay! We decided to dig in near the location where the Pokémons needed to be delivered and stood ground. Only one of the four Pokémons were collected that game!
The next mission was a kind of ‘protect the asset’, where you needed to get sand in a bunker and safely transport it to a safe point. We as a team tried everything to cover our asset, but that was not easy. Eventually, part of our team defended the sand bunker and the other part went with the asset to see that the sand will get delivered.
The only point of critisism that I have is on the missions. In my opinion, the teams should have switched missions, but that was not the case. Aside from that, it was a great skirm! Some problems with our replicas aside 😉
All in all it was another great skirm with a bunch of great people.
